Hola Che. Viste?
Well this week was UNBELIEVEABLY HOT OH MY WORD. Definitely the hottest week of the new summer. It was unbelieveable. We broke 42 one day I believe, that was nuts. Literally sweating like crazy. It was crazy. So that was the heat story this week.
Hermana Robertson helped me with my toes hahaha, they are all good now (apparently he had several in grown toe nails) I was able to take good care of them this week and we are all good. Still working on them now, and they started because I changed my shoes for a couple days. My other shoes that I used were just DESTROYED, so that didn't really help my feet hahaha, but I don't really got any other option now, these shoes that I have on now are troopers and they are doing a good job of staying strong. (Wishing his feet weren't so huge so he could buy new ones!! Hate that I can't send packages to him)
That is pretty crazy all the things that are going on back home! Pretty crazy to see how close the Lord is to returning. He is very close. I look forward to Him coming home and fixing all the problems that are going on here. Here in Argentina we see a lot more wickedness in the street than I saw in Canada, so it just gives me more hope and desires for Him to come back!!!
(I asked him what spiritual moment stood out his week) Man, spiritual moments have become so normal here on the mission that they don't stand out as much as they used to so I cant really remember any one in specific hahaha. I could remember them earlier in the mission because they were new but now they are something that happens daily and normally.
(He had a special broadcast from Salt Lake last week) It was really cool! They talked about a lot of things that we talked about in our Jedi Council, so it was kinda a recap. Elder Bednar, Elder Nelson, Elder Oaks and some other General Authorities talked. They were awesome. The one thing that I did not like is they had some classes that we broadcasted with a bunch of missionaries from Utah. The missionaries from Utah just think they are so perfect and on a level so much higher than all of us that I don't even want to look at them. hahahah, Utah man, luckily I have never had a companion from Utah. (He just jinxed himself!! HAHA!)
Good stuff, well after conversing with my companion I have decided that I am going to pray and fast to the Lord to see if I can join the team of the 3 Nephites and be a missionary/servant of the Lord forever until He comes again. That way I wont have to worry about not being a missionary and I will be able to avoid the terrifying and horrific step of marriage and enjoy hanging out with the 3 Bros from the Book of Mormon. That is probably the smartest conclusion that I have come to hahahaha, so we will leave it at that for now. :) (LOL!! We'll see....)
Well, I am glad to hear that all is well back home! Love to hear all the updates. I was telling my companion after dinner as well "Man Elder, I do not want to ever go back home" hahahaha,
Love

Hola Che.
It was another solid week, things are going really good here! And we totally had a baptism!!! Asuncion, our little grandma, was baptized this weekend! It was a really really really spiritual experience! I would send pictures, but I don't have a converter for my memory card to send pictures, and none of these computers here in Argentina have an input for a memory card. When I get the chance I will try to send as many as I can. For the baptism of Asuncion, she is 83 years old. The second counselor of the bishopric baptized her. He had to hug her and almost enter the water completely himself to baptize her. It was awesome!!!
I've been working hard here in the week, yesterday was a battle, literally nobody to talk to, everybody sleeping. But it was all good, we fought the good fight and totally won. Still focusing hard on the work and wanting to finish strong this transfer. This is the last week! Either Saturday or Sunday we will know the changes and I am not sure what I want! I think I want to stay.
Renzo and Marisol are going to be moving out of the area, they have some serious family issues so they are going to move in with the parents of Renzo. They were living in the house of the parents of Marisol, but the brother of Marisol is a loser and is being an idiot therefore they cannot live there anymore. So we will sadly not get to teach them anymore... That is a bummer, they have not really been progressing anyways in a long time.
(A feet followup) The feet are good, this week I figured the best thing to heal the feet would be going running every morning, so we did. HAHAHAHA, but seriously they are lots better and we are running every morning now because I don't like fatness.
(When asked what he commits an hour to each day) I am not really sure, I kinda figured that being a missionary we commit 24 hours a day to the Lord. But one hour in specific I guess I could say I commit it to singing in my sleep as my companion tells me!
Things are going really well down here! Oh ya forgot to tell ya, we are teaching some older folks and the man looks a lot like Grandpa!! It is hilarious and he acts like Grandpa too! I have found the Spanish clone hahahaha.
Love
