Yes.
The heat has returned.
And I am not happy about that headline.
We are now cruising for the 35 degree mark and sadly the temperature is only gonna keep going up and up, and my sweat is going to start going down and down.
BUT ALL IS WELL.
With the news of Star Wars 7 coming out in theaters soon, I have sparked the excitement to share the message of the Restoration to all. Really that has nothing to do with Star Wars 7, but I figured Id try to tie it in somehow.
Renzo and Marisol, our gypsy family are doing really well. The only problem is that they are very tired and sleepy and they like to sleep in a lot, so sadly they could not come to church yesterday. But they have accepted to be baptized on Boxing Day!
We are still finding families everyday to teach here! Lizards are running all over the place.
We were teaching a super evangelist family and the husband said "I believe that the Book of Mormon is not a book of God" And LITERALLY right as he said those words a HUGE lightning bolt struck outside and there was some really loud thunder. I laughed.
I am praying for you all! We just got the news of the changes and Elder Christensen is leaving me, which means I am left with the whole zone to pick up with my new companion whom I will be receiving tomorrow! I hope all is well at home! I LOVE YOU ALL!

Hey Mom!
My birthday was chill, we went to church and sadly the gypsy family did not make it, they were too lazy to get up ..... that was lame and a birthday spoiler. But after that we went to the bishops house and we ate and talked and they made a birthday cake which was nice. Then we had to go back to the apartment and we did a SUPER DEEP CLEAN, of the whole apartment, which was actually really nice. And today we are going to go to downtown of our zone and I am going to buy a soccer jersey or something.
Which reminds me! My new companion is Elder Rivera from Mexico!!! He is pretty cool, speaks English really well and I am helping him improve on that. He has been on the mission for 13 months now, and this is his first time as Zone Leader so I am showing him the ways hahaha.
This week was awesome, we worked really hard this week, and I felt a lot more powerful in contacting more people, especially with the new Christmas program that has come out it is really easy to start a conversation with the people. RENZO AND MARISOL CAME TO CHURCH WHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!! They loved it, it was really awesome. Marisol is going crazy with the gospel, she loves it and understands sooooo well, they love us a ton. Renzo is great, but a little slower, he didnt seem too excited about getting married soon. But Marisol is already like "I want to go to the TEMPLE!" they are pretty amazing.
Christmas is in the air even down here, and I'm LOVING it!
Star Wars 7. Oh sorry that slipped out, I'm not thinking about that.... okay maybe a little bit.
Actually a good amount every now and then. I may or may not have dreams about Star Wars.
But nobody's perfect...
Except Obi One.
I gotta stop.

This week was another solid week, we worked hard and had tons of fun. My companion is a stud legend. We get along super well and I am hoping to be here with him for a good time. We are working well together.
This week it was WAY TOO HOT OH MY GOODNESS WORD. The summer is arriving, and it is not fun. We are back to the days of sleeping without blankets in shorts and with a fan on blowing more hot air on us hahaha, it is a struggle. The laundry is starting to increase a lot. But its okay, the heat is only gonna get worse............................
I got a cool news for ya! I called President last night to ask him about some information that we needed for a temple trip that we will be doing as a mission on the 23rd. We talked and then he told me that he had just sent me an email saying that he was in a leadership council with all the stake presidents in the whole mission talking about how to better coordinate the work. Also with a 70. After the meeting the Stake President of the stake where I am serving came up to President and said "President, we have a need in the stake. We need Elder Healey to stay in this stake, he is doing great things for us." O_O That was my face right there, I didn't really know that I was doing that great things for the whole stake but okay I guess so! So that was really cool.
OH MAN, I HAD THE WORST TEMPTATION THIS WEEK. You have no idea mother. Yesterday we went to lunch with a member in their home with the family. All chill. Then the kid changed a channel on the TV, and what was on the TV, EPISODE FREAKING 4 OF STAR WARS. Oh man I died, it was so hard to not watch..... I caught a few glimpses but it was a struggle. Then I realized that all this week in all the TVs all the channels are going to be showing the Star Wars movies in preparation for the 7th. This week is going to be a challenge. I will need to avoid Televisions for my life..........
So....because I didn't get a chance to email Devon the week of Nov 30, he chose to not email me, to which I replied.....and then he replied....
Dec 7 - So, as a followup to my email sent last week (sent too late)......you email your Mission President and then your Mom. In that order. Always. Period. Followed by a group email ONLY if you have stories to tell and saves you from typing it over many times to everyone. Followed by individual emails, which includes your Grandparents. This is the end of me parenting you all the way from Canada. A little like DC 121:43 - reproving with a little sharpness and now to show forth an increase of love. I love you.
Dec 7 - Whats good goon? LOL. This whole week I kept saying to my companion, "I cannot BELIEVE that my mom DID NOT WRITE ME ON MONDAY!" hahahaha it was pretty funny, but no worries, I kinda figured that things were busy, but I was also worried that maybe you didn't write me because you were mad at me for taking out a lot of money for my birthday present to myself LOL I still cant sent a picture of it because the computers are lame, but don't worry, its AMAZING.
