Well big change for ya......
Ya know how I said I was gonna stay in Bragado? Well.... here's a story you can put on the blog.
I was in the shower Tuesday morning all chill. Just got out, dried off and was shaving. Everything was perfect knowing that I was gonna stay in Bragado with my comp with whom we were having tons of success. Then I heard Elder Fowers talking on the phone to Elder Alexander in the offices. I heard the words "Elder Healey se va" which being translated means Elder Healey is OUTTA HERE. I paused.... I heard my comp repeat the words in a surprised voice. I dashed to the door and threw it open, half naked, with shaving cream on face and a foot ready to kick some nuts. I yelled at the phone "ELDER ALEXANDER, THIS BETTER BE A JOKE" He said, "No Elder Healey it is not a joke" I said, "Are you 150% sure that I am going???!!!!" He said yes. So to make things short, in less than 24 hours we had to teach pack clean up and say goodbye.
And now, I am not in Bragado.... :(
BUT I AM IN A BETTER PLACE. I am now in a place called La Tablada, it is big city once again, and HOOD once again, we got some pretty sketchy zones that remind me heavily of Call of Duty. We call it the Concrete Jungle because it is a jungle of concrete buildings all over the place here. Pretty sick. My companion is Elder Christensen from Washington State, he is just about done his mission and a great guy. We already knew each other really well before this change so all is good.
I can honestly testify that the Lord guides this work. I know that I was sent here for several reasons. This zone and area is STRUGGLING. BIG TIME. My companion is confused, stressed and frustrated with the work. The zone is lacking faith big time. And it needs some help. I feel like the Lord has sent me here saying : "Alright Elder Healey, I know it would be nice and comfy and boss and really good, and fun and friendly and successful and peaceful and awesome and amazing and miracles and everything perfect that you can possibly imagine for a missionary in Bragado - but I need YOU here - where its not as awesome, struggling, no baptisms for several months, missionaries stressed and down, comp down, Satan starting to win a bit, and many soldiers with wounds that need some reinforcements. So I am here! And I am SO EXCITED to change this zone!
For Canadian thanksgiving I will say that I am THANKFUL to be HERE in this new area with the new calling the Lord has given me! (I am still a Zone Leader here. )

Yes it was a crazy change that I had. But I love it. This week we saw some serious miracles and success here in the area and we are seeing it throughout the whole zone. My companion said that this week we have found more new investigators than he has ever found in his whole mission. We found 18 and the average for the past year was about 4. That's awesome. We also taught 26 lessons and the average was about 16. This is the way that the zone and the area are MEANT to be! We found several young and AWESOME families that are very interested in reading the Book of Mormon and we are really excited. So that was the first week, my companion is doing a lot better now and we get along really well, we already knew each other well before we were comps so that's nice. The zone is doing great, we have great missionaries in the zone, but the Sisters are kinda weird and stressed all the time. Man, they just need to chill. The ward could use a lot of help, every time I see the bishop in the church he looks like he belongs more in the Primary than in the bishopric.... Our ward mission leader is cool, and things are good! We are changing the zone!!
I know the Book of Mormon has amazing power to change the lives of anyone that reads it! I know without any doubts that Joseph Smith was the Prophet of the Restoration! I love this message!
I am working hard as always and loving the work here! I am hoping and praying that the Lord will grant me as He granted to the 3 nephites to stay in the work forever until He comes again, so hopefully I will stay here in the mission foreveerrrrrrrr
