Dog's can go to church can't they? Missing all the tornadoes, walking in a sauna and Devon the Garbage Man!! AND......PICTURES!!!

January 12
Hey everyone! Well this week was a week of miracles and record breaking. Elder Rossi and I counted 15 people in church yesterday! Which is an official record for the branch of General Villegas in the Buenos Aires West mission!! We are SUPER excited and next week we plan for more! This branch is continuing to grow upward and we are STOKED!!

So that is the big news! Records are being broken down here in Argentina! Lets see what is going on this past week!.... Well just like I've said in weeks before, the heat and humidity continues to increase, today temperatures are expected to reach 42... which could be a tough one hahaha. I continue to pray for a random event of a big snow fall, but until then I have my head stuck in the freezer in our apartment!

Well, as I said last week as well, the Sister missionaries are gone from Villegas, which officially makes Elder Rossi and I alone! And with a lot of work to do! We have made contact with the investigators that the Sisters had, and they are some great possibilities. Dario is a new one and an interesting one. He is a runner and quite a poetic guy. He has interesting ways of expressing himself, I'm not much of a poem guy myself but hey, we will baptize this guy anyways. Estela is progressing well, she is coming to church every Sunday the only problem is her dog cant be without her so she follows her to church and tries getting inside. It is a dilemma because this dog knows how to open doors so we have had to lock this dumb dog in the backyard haha. But hey, we count the dog as an extra person in the church ;)

Overall nothing huge to report this week! We had a bit of a roadtrip to a city called Chivilcoy which was a little hectic when our bus broke down and we lost a full day of work, but this coming week we have nothing holding us back and we are excited to see the miracles that God has prepared for us!
I love you all! And I want you all to know that this is the true Church restored on the Earth!!! We all have the great opportunity to take part in blessings of happiness and peace and our families and loved ones can be with us for the eternities! I testify of that to all of you! And I love you!

Stay safe! Enjoy the snow because I'm not enjoying it! And be Kings!!

PS, we had another sweet storm this week! Members told us a big tornado passed just outside of town! We may need to suit up the storm chasing gear........ ;)

Well everyone, this week I may have done the most disgusting thing and smelt the most disgusting thing in my life. We were cleaning the church on Saturday, and turns out in front of the building we have our garbage bin, its not that big. But, the past Elders have left garbage and junk and stinky stuff in there for probably 3 years. It has been sitting there for that long rotting and dying and smelling disgusting. So Elder Healey decided to do what no Elder has done before.... And I cleaned it out. Whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Ladies and Gentlemen I testify I have never smelt something like that in my LIFE! That may have been the most disgusting thing I have also seen in my life, but hey it was for the Lords house :) and it looks so much better now even if I had to take a shower for an hour hahaha.

This week was a good one for us here in Villegas! It was HOT! But some good thunderstorms in the evening! Unfortunately our sacrament attendance dropped this past week, BUT we had MORE INVESTIGATORS than MEMBERS! Hahaha thats right! We had 3 investigators and 2 members in the church :( it kinda sucked but Elder Rossi and I gave it our all to help those 5 people have a spiritually uplifting experience.. .even if I messed up on the piano 600 times! ;)

We are also working with a family named the Lopez family. Claudia is the most interested - the mom of the family. She loves church and our visits the only problem is she talks A LOT! I promise you one lesson she talked for 45 minutes straight about the same thing repeating over and over and over and...... That was a patience test, but hey, shes got a lot of problems and needs someone to talk to! She wants to be baptized, but needs to be married to her partner first and the problem is her partner does not have his divorce papers from his last marriage so they cant get married..... yet! Other than that we are working hard with a lot of members to help them reinforce the branch here. There are some struggling families and we pray mightily for them. But I have strong faith they will return.

This week, I had the great privilege to take some Argentina kids to school and play some bball in the street. Seems like the white shirt and tie give us some sports powers....... ;)

Stay boss!

Hey everyone! Hows winter??
Things are still amazing down here in General Villegas. Transfers just went by and I am STAYING!! :D Yayyyy another 6 weeks in paradise baby!! I am very happy that I will be staying here working with Elder Rossi - who is a boss Elder. We have many exciting plans for the coming transfer on how we are gonna get this town GOING!!

It has been SUPER hot this pást week. Yesterday the humidity was so bad you could cut it with a knife. But we are doing okay, its just like walking and sleeping and living in a sauna, so hey that aint to bad right? ;)

Things are great family! We are loving the mission and there is tons of work to do! Overall I have seen an amazing change in my experience and strength as a person. I am becoming stronger everyday in every aspect. Sometimes however Elder Rossi gets grumpy with me because I run too fast in the morning hehehehehehe ;) He hasnt seen the Harry Ainlay ball team go!
Anyways I love you all and I hope and pray that you have an amazing week!
