December 29th
I am proud and very excited to say that today for Pday (that's like his day off in the week, every Monday) in the morning I actually played some basketball. I may have shed a few tears of joy, especially finding out that I haven't completely lost it! So I am still living and breathing the bball life :D
Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!!! I hope that everyone's Christmas went really well and it was super awesome to see and talk to some of you! For Christmas here, we had a late night dinner/feast with a member family where we sang traditional Spanish songs and ate pig and cow and talked to parrots that talked back which was hilarious! We went to the plaza in the center of town where they had two huge Christmas trees lit up and tons of Christmas lights! It was awesome we hung out there for a bit, then at 4 in the morning on actual Christmas morning the Sisters came and rang our doorbell 1672334 times and gave us stockings and presents! Which was pretty awesome even though it was super early! hahaha
Elder Rossi and I prepared and planned a Christmas activity for the branch here. We decided that we would eat pig!! So we went to a meat shop to buy some pig and I thought they were going to give us - ya know - some hot dogs or chunks of meat to cook. Nope. This guy went into the fridge and grabbed a straight up dead pig. Thats right, dead killed straight off the farm, not gutted not cleaned nothing. Threw it in a couple bags and gave it to me. So to make my Christmas awesome, I biked around town carrying a dead pig in my left arm which was actually probably the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life!!! :D
Then one of the Sisters cooked it in the oven and brought it to the party and the members challenged me to eat the pigs eye.....
And I DID!! They chopped off the pigs head and handed it to me so I decided, hey, you only serve once ya know. And yea I ate part of a pigs head, it was awesome I gained a lot of respect!
Anywayssssss that was what was excited for Christmas! As for our investigators we have had trouble finding lots of new investigators just because we have to run the branch and the activities, but we have an awesome progressing investigator named Estela. She came to church yesterday and really wants to get baptized. We have made a sweet plan with her to quit and she is definitely going to be baptized. We got Alex to quit remember? He was smoking 40 a day and quit in 2 weeks so Estela is definitely going to quit! :)
Things are still awesome family! Tomorrow I will be going through the Argentina temple for New Years! I am super excited but I am going to miss my MTC buddies!
I love you all! Stay boss!!!

Hey everyone!
Well lots has happened this past week, especially yesterday!!! President Robertson (his mission president) drove out to General Villegas to give us a visit and attend sacrament meeting with us which was amazing!! Butttt....... the problem is that now the Sister missionaries of Villegas are gone!! Elder Rossi and I are officially ALONE!! And we have a lot of work to do.. which includes me picking back up playing the piano... because we have no official pianst and I am the only one that has a bit of talent.. good thing I've been practicing the Office theme song in the Chapel every now and then! But yes, President told Elder Rossi and I that the fate of General Villegas and these people is now 100% officially in our hands and we have a TON of work to do. We are now 100% directing the branch, alone! Wish us luck! Now is the time to show Buenos Aires that I will actually live up to my nickname Superman!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!! 2015 BABY!!!!
Its gonna be a good year I tell you guys. I was thinking about my goals for this new year and the strange thought came to my mind that at the end of this year 2015 I will still be in Buenos Aires!! Pretty crazy! But it is gonna fly by, I know it, you are all awesome and I hope that this year 2015 is an amazing and blessing full year!
Well family and friends whom I love so much I pray for you often, and I thank you so much for your prayers and emails and support! Have a great week and keep kicking nuts!
