It has been another amazing week here in Mariano! Elder Figueiredo and I are working very hard and we have had a great week to continue together. We just heard the changes that are going to happen for this coming transfer! And... Elder Figueiredo and I are staying here!!!! Wheewwwwwwwww we are SOOOO happy and I am super pumped to finally be staying in an area! I love working here and Elder Figueiredo and I still have so much to do! We are very happy!
This week we had an amazing miracle. We went to the house of a new investigator family that we had found the other day to have a return appointment. They were not there, but from the house behind the investigators house, a woman walked outside and talked to us. We decided to talk to here and try to share a message. Turns out that she was a member inactive! The reason why she was inactive is because she had HUGE desires to go into the temple and recieve the endowment. She didn't pass the interview, and was very very very broken and sad. We sat down and shared a scripture outside, and she was very grateful and we promised her that she can still have that opportunity to enter the temple! AND while we were teaching her! The investigators showed up! And we taught all of them!! It was AWESOME! Such an amazing miracle and a true gold mine that we found! :)
Dolly and Nelson are AWESOME. Nelson has set the goal to quit smoking in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday for lunch the sister gave us so much food I think I ate a cow. Played the piano again! AWESOME.
Those are some quick highlights for the week!! I am doing great and I hope that all of you are doing well! I love you all and I hope that each one of you has an amazing week! :D

A good week this week! I will quickly share an AWESOME and HILARIOUS story that happened this week. Elder Figueiredo and I were walking to lunch on Tuesday when we saw a man walking towards us with a bag full of clothes and books. He looked a little drunk or drugged up. He stopped us and shook our hands and asked for the time. I told him it was one o clock, which I had already checked earlier. He started chatting about the church and where we were going. By this time we recognized that he was drunk or drugged or both. He then asked me the time again. I told him it was one o clock. He then got mad at us and started getting defensive and said, "why don't you show me!" I told him I didn't say anything to bother him, he got mad and took a few steps back. He then opened his bag and put his hand in the bag stuffed of books and clothes, a white almost clear bag. Using his hand clearly as an imitated gun, he then told us to give him everything we had. We stared at him.... Confused about what he was trying to do with his hand. And we didn't say anything, mainly because we were so confused and terrified of the clear very well acted hand-like gun.I then told him we didn't do anything or say anything to him, and he said, "fine then get out of here!" And we said, Alright see ya! And walked away, it wasn't until 10 minutes later that I realized he was trying to rob us. He may need to take a few practices on how to rob someone, and lay off the alcohol and drugs as well.
LOL
Not gonna lie it was the most hilarious part of my week, and I am quite ashamed that for my first robbery attempt it was that lame. But hey, not everybody scores a ten on the first round. ;)
I hope you all have had an amazing week and that this week is even better! I love you all tons!

We worked hard this week! But with a lot of rain, and a lot of cold weather, and a lot of cold and closed hearts, the people sadly didn't really want to listen to us this week! BUT WE ARE NOT STOPPING.
THIS NEXT WEEK, Elder Figueiredo and I are going to work SO HARD that even Coach George Hoyt would be shocked at the amount of work and sweat we are going to put into this area. We are very excited and I KNOW that the Lord will bless us, we have lots to do, people to find, members to strengthen and dogs to kick in the face. We literally had like 5 doors completely SLAMMED in our faces, that was hilarious actually. I think the people down here in Argentina are a lot more defensive and agressive towards the missionaries than in Canada just because religion down here is such a bigger deal in the culture. We have a lot of desires for this coming week to work HARD. I am excited, this is gonna be called "The Week of Coach Hoyt".
This past Sunday we were SO HAPPY to see 4 people who haven't been coming to church and 3 investigators came to church with us. It was AWESOME. We will be working hard with them this week and with the new investigators that we will find. Our investigator Gabriel is a BOSS. He is reading the Book of Mormon a ton and loving it, we will be waiting for him this coming Sunday. Also in the sacrament meeting, I played the piano with Elder Connell from our apartment and we totally ACED I Believe in Christ. I think I will be a regular Bach after the mission.
UNTIL NEXT WEEK, be ready for awesome stories of success and awesomeness, and remember, the most important things in this time of year are:
