As the weeks roll by...learning a 3rd language, goin' fishing, and YES, he still talks in his sleep!

March 2
Hey everyone! Well this week has been pretty crazy with a ton of miracles and exciting news! I'm sure you are all wondering and excited to hear about my fresh new companion to the mission so I will start with him! His name is Elder Figueiredo (have fun pronouncing that one ;) He is from Brazil! Which makes things fun because I am training him and teaching him Spanish - but he doesn't speak English only Portuguese so that is a fun challenge! But I am being taught a little Portuguese which is AWESOME! My new companion is amazing, he is very faithful and a convert to the church. He was baptized 4 years ago! He is learning lots and progressing very well! Things are a little crazy for me running the show now and helping him to teach and find investigators but I have already seen many miracles from the faith and diligence he has!

Lets see, this week I would like to share a little miracle that happened yesterday in Church. We were in class and a Brother Gonzalez pulled us out of class saying that someone had walked into the church looking for the Elders. His name was Emanual, and he told us that he had been investigating the Church for over a year! Just in a different part of Argentina and recently he had moved here to Buenos Aires. We were so shocked to meet him and we went to his house after Church! We met his girlfriend and they had on the table all the scriptures and pamphlets and everything from the Church! They told us that when they found the Church, they cried with joy. They were so happy that they could find the place to continue where they left off. They have not been baptized yet because Emanual needs to get all his papers and documents from the government in order to be married and then baptized! It was quite a miracle to find them. We shared some scriptures and cake (best part) and took a picture! It was awesome!

I love you all so much! I hope that this week is full of miracles and spiritual experiences but more than that I hope that each of you will RECOGNIZE the blessings that the Lord has placed in your lives!

Sadly looks like summer hasn't quite had its time with us, things were pretttyyy hot this week as for temperatures! And as for the work and investigators, things are just rolling along smoothly!

For all you back home, the Book of Mormon IS TRUE. And I really hope that each one of you has had that confirmation for your selves, because I know that it can truly bless the lives of each one of you. This week my eyes have been opened to so many things as I've searched the scriptures and I have also come to see how revelation can come to ANYONE, if we look for it! So look for it!
I love you all! Have an amazing week! Send me some snow and maple and again I love you all tons!

Hey everyone once again! Another solid week and it looks like the heat has officially left us here in Buenos Aires, we are starting to get some chilly weather here during the night and morning hours! I'm gonna need to call up on that Canadian blood to keep me going!

I will start with a pretty cool investigator we had for church yesterday. His name is Martin and he is 14 years old. He is really cool, his family is pretty crazy and his mom doesn't understand many things but Martin is a decent kid. He came to church with us yesterday!!!! He was pretty nervous about the other kids at church beating him up or the leaders being mean but he left the church super happy and really wanting to go to the activities that the young men have throughout the week! He is super awesome and we are working and praying for him. And the Lord is super super AWESOME, He placed in our path an awesome family of 4 which loved the message and accepted us very warmly! The Lord always has things prepared sooooo well!

I continue to learn in Portuguese from my companion, with some hopes to have a 3rd language by the time I am done with him. He is super hilarious and has been telling me of some stories that I have been speaking in the night! :) Good times.........

Well Family and Friends, today I am super stoked because we 4 missionaries and a member are going fishing!!!! That is gonna be pretty awesome, lots of pictures and hopefully lots of fish! So everyone have an awesome week, I love you all!! And remember that God loves you all too!
